Intro (Português-br | English below)

Bom, lá vamos nós de site então. Pra quem me conhece do Youtube, essa vai ser uma extensão do canal em que eu consigo me expressar com mais frequência e flexibilidade. Pra quem chegou aqui de paraquedas, meu nome é Luisa, sou brasileira, tenho 23 anos, estudei História da Arte e faço vídeos sobre arte e cultura aqui ó (https://www.youtube.com/DonaLuisa), onde tento redirecionar nosso olhar pra artes fora do imaginário Europeu-Estadunidense. A ideia é falar desses assuntos de forma acessível, trazendo a complexidade das discussões acadêmicas sem a firula, pensando a arte como coisa que se pode moldar tão facilmente quanto se pode sentir. Por aqui seremos bilíngues, ao passo que estou aprendendo a navegar a minha experiência como brasileira morando na Inglaterra, expressando coisas daqui prái e daí pra cá. O diálogo continua aberto sempre, a ideia é abrir mais ainda! Artinerário é um meio de abrir mais caminhos de acesso à arte, de aprender a navega-la, de se orientar dentro e ao redor dela.

Let's kick things off on this website, shall we? If you're an English-speaker, you probably don't know me from YouTube, since my videos on arts and culture are all in Portuguese (but you can check out a subtitled one here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21cBf0W1RGQ). For a reason, might I add: people who don't speak English seldom have a voice in or access to discussions on international arts and culture - especially since many cultures are explored widely by those who fail to involve them in that exploration. On the other hand, those who don't speak Portuguese miss out on a lot happening in Brazil and other Pt-speaking countries. So here I am aiming to bridge that gap even a little bit. My idea with the channel has been to discuss the arts in a more accessible way, bringing the complexities of academic discussions without the unnecessary flair, approaching art as a thing that can be moulded as easily as it can be felt. In general, I'm also trying to redirect our attention to arts outside the imaginary of the European-USA network. This platform will be bilingual as I try to navigate my experience as a Brazilian woman living in England. The space for dialogue is always open, so I'd invite you to speak with your chest.

Artinerary is a means of opening up more paths to access art, of learning how to navigate it, of orienting oneself within and around it.
